  The First Tee Certification Program
The First Tee certification program offers progressive levels of instruction in golf as well as important life skills. Each child participates in group lessons and moves through levels to receive their membership card to The First Tee.
  Family Golf Time
Bring the family out to the golf course for great fun and family time. Play at your own pace, improve your golf game, enjoy the quality family time and take in the scenery of our beautiful golf course in Virginia Beach.
  Individual Lessons
Individual lessons for children ages 5-17 are available by appointment. These lessons will give the junior golfer an opportunity to enhance skills and increase his/her knowledge of golf in a one-on-one setting.
The First Tee Life Skills Experience

The First Tee Life Skills Experience is one of the unique features that differentiates The First Tee from many other successful junior golf programs.  Through the Life Skills Experience, participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences and how to define and set goals from the golf course to everyday life.
The First Tee Certification Process

The First Tee wants everyone who completes The First Tee Experience to have acquired basic golf skills and to be able to demonstrate certain fundamental life skill concepts – such as interpersonal communication and the importance of rules and etiquette.
The First Tee Coach

The First Tee Coach Program is an educational training program that prepares staff and volunteers at Chapters of The First Tee to deliver The First Tee Life Skills Experience, which includes the TARGET program, as well as the Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace levels of certification.
Assistant Coach Training
The First Tee Assistant Coach Training for individuals who want to be more involved with the ongoing coaching and mentoring of The First Tee participants at the Chapter level but may not be able to spend the time required to become recognized as a The First Tee Coach.
